Class Projects

Our team conducted a two-part research project on Apple TV+ to deepen our understanding of its brand strategy and consumer insights.

Part 1: Secondary Research
We initiated the project by analyzing Apple TV+'s brand identity and marketing strategy through secondary research. This involved assessing its unique positioning in the competitive streaming market and identifying key challenges and opportunities. We formulated a research problem statement to guide our qualitative research.

Part 2: Qualitative Research
Building on our secondary findings, we developed targeted questions for a focus group interview, engaging five participants who represent our target audience of college students and adults. Over the course of one hour, we explored consumer perceptions and preferences regarding Apple TV+. The focus group was recorded with participant consent, allowing us to gather key insights into the brand's current situation. Our findings will inform strategic recommendations for enhancing Apple TV+’s communication and engagement with its audience.
